বৃষ্টির জন্য দোয়া Pray for rain
‘On the authority of `Abdullah Ibn Zayd (RA), the uncle of Abbad Ibn Tamim (RA):
He said, The Prophet (peace be upon him) went out praying for rain and changed his cloak.
Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 1005 Hadith Value: Sahih Hadith
Narrated by Abdullah (RA):
He said, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw the people in an anti-Islamic role, he supplicated, O Allah! Give them seven years of famine like the seven years (famine) of the time of Yusuf (a.s.). As a result, such a famine fell upon them that it destroyed everything. Even humans then began to eat skins, dead bodies and rotten and melted animals. The situation became so extreme in hunger that one could see smoke when one looked up at the sky. In this situation, Abu Sufyan (before accepting Islam) came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, O Muhammad! You obey the command of Allah and command to maintain the relationship of kinship. But your people are dying. You pray to Allah for them. In this context, Allah Ta'ala said: "Look forward to the day when the sky will be covered with clear smoke..On that Day I will take hold of you strongly" - (Surah Dukhan 44/10-16). ``Abdullah (R.A.) said, "That day of severe injury was the day of the Battle of Badr." Smoke was also seen, injuries were also reported. And the prophecy of the killing and arrest of the polytheists of Makkah has also come true. This verse of Surah Rum is also true (The Romans will be victorious over the Persians again within ten years).

On the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (RA):
He said, A man entered (the mosque) on the day of Jumu'ah through the door directly of the pulpit. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was giving a sermon while standing. He stood in front of the Messenger of God (may peace be upon him) and said, O Messenger of God! Livestock perished and the roads became impassable. So pray to Allah to give us rain. The narrator said, Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) then raised both his hands and prayed, O Allah! Give rain, O Allah! Give rain, O Allah! let it rain Anas (RA) said, By Allah! We didn't see clouds, cloud marks or anything in the sky then. But there were no houses between us and the mountain of Sal'a (a hill in Madinah). Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Suddenly, a cloud like a shield came out from behind the mountain Sala'a and it reached the mid-sky and expanded. Then it started raining. He said, By God! We did not see the sun for six days. Then a man entered (the mosque) through that door on the next Friday. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was giving a sermon while standing. The man stood up and said, O Messenger of God! Wealth was destroyed and roads were cut off. So you pray to Allah to stop the rain. Anas (RA) said, Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) raised both his hands and prayed, O Allah! Around us, not on us; Rain on hills, mountains, highlands, plateaus, valleys and forests. Anas (R.A.) said, "It stopped raining and we started walking (out of the mosque) in the sun." Sharik (RA) (the narrator) said, I asked Anas (RA), is this man the same man as before? He said, I don't know.

On the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (RA):
A man entered the mosque on the day of Jumu'ah through the door towards the Darul Qaza (place of judgement). At that time, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was giving a sermon. The man stood facing the Messenger of God (may peace be upon him) and said, O Messenger of God! Wealth was lost and roads were blocked. You should pray to Allah to give us rain. Then the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) raised his hands and prayed, O Allah! Give us rain. O Allah! Give us rain. O Allah! Give us rain. Anas (RA) said, By Allah! We then looked at the sky and saw that there was no cloud, not even a small piece of cloud. But there was no house between Sala'a mountain and us. He said, "Suddenly a cloud like a shield rose from the other side of Sal'ar and spread in the mid-sky. Then it started raining heavily. By God! We did not see the sun for six days. On the following Friday, a man entered through that door. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was giving a sermon while standing. The man stood in front of him and said, O Messenger of God!
